Terms of Service

By accessing or using RaptorX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

RaptorX is a cloud-based, AI-powered penetration testing platform that provides:

• Automated vulnerability scanning and reconnaissance
• AI-driven security analysis and reporting
• Team collaboration and workflow management
• API access for integration with other tools

IMPORTANT: You may only use RaptorX to scan systems and networks for which you have explicit written authorization.

You agree that you will:

• Only scan targets you own or have written permission to test
• Obtain and retain documentation of authorization before scanning
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Unauthorized scanning of systems is a violation of these Terms and may violate federal and state laws including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).

To use the Service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing customers

Free Trial

• Free trials provide full access to Professional tier features
• No credit card required to start a trial
• Trials automatically expire; we will not charge you without consent

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• Data may be deleted 30 days after subscription ends

You agree NOT to:

• Scan systems without authorization
• Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service attacks
• Attempt to disrupt or overwhelm target systems beyond normal testing
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to develop competing products
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

The Service, including all software, content, and documentation, is owned by RaptorX and protected by intellectual property laws.

• You retain ownership of your scan targets and authorization documents
• Scan results and reports generated are licensed to you for your use
• You may not resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to submit target data
• We do not claim ownership of your scan data
• Enterprise customers may request dedicated infrastructure

For paid subscriptions, we commit to:

• 99.9% uptime for the web application
• Response times: Critical issues within 4 hours (Enterprise)
• Regular security updates and vulnerability patching

Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All vulnerabilities will be detected
• Scan results will be 100% accurate
• The Service will meet your specific security requirements

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAPTORX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Actions taken based on scan results or recommendations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RaptorX, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Scanning of systems without proper authorization

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the Service for unauthorized scanning
• Fail to pay applicable fees
• Engage in activity that harms other users or the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
